Peakhurst Park | Peakhurst

Peakhurst Park was the original name for Oatley Park. When Oatley Park was renamed in 1922 it ignited calls for another Peakhurst Park to be constructed. Council decided in 1929 to place the new park on hold, waiting for the subdivision of the area. The Park was finally constructed in 1935.

Sports Played:

Cycling
Cricket
Rugby
League
Rugby Union
Soccer

The Playground is a good size for neighborhood.  Very spaceous for scooters and bicycle and the kids love it.  There is also a BBQ place for family.  It gets vety crowded in the afternoon and evening in Summer.  The playground has no gate therefore the parents need to look closely to their children.

The park is walking distance from Riverwood Shops and eatery place.  The best thing is inly walking distance to our place.

Have a great weekend!
